This Privacy Policy explains how Foodie Checklist, provided by Theiss, handles information when you use the app and related website.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store your grocery-list content, favorite products, completed-list history, list names, quantities, categories, or other shopping content on our servers.

3. Local App Data

Foodie Checklist may store information you enter directly on your device so the app can provide its core features. This can include lists, product names, quantities, categories, favorites, settings and completed-list history. This local information is not synchronized to a Theiss server.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your locally stored shopping content with third parties. The Google Play platform may process its own technical or store-related information under Google's terms and privacy practices.

5. Data Retention

Because Theiss does not collect or retain your shopping data on its servers, there is no server-side retention period for that data. Information stored locally in the app remains on your device until you remove it, clear the relevant local history, reset app data, or uninstall the app, depending on your device and operating-system behavior.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete app content directly on your device using the available list, favorites, history or local-data controls. You may also remove the app and its locally stored data through your device settings. Because Theiss does not hold a server-side copy of this shopping data, there is no additional remote dataset for us to delete.

7. Security

Keeping app content local reduces the amount of personal information transmitted over the internet. You remain responsible for the security of your device, operating-system account and backups.

8. Children’s Privacy

Foodie Checklist is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app does not require users to create an account or submit personal information to Theiss.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements or our practices change. The latest version will be made available through the website or app-linked policy page.
